Case:
VGZ visual rebrand
VGZ has made bold steps to stand out from other health insurance companies in the Netherlands. One of these steps ws to put Eva Eikhout forward as the face of VGZ. Another key value of VGZ is innovation in Health. To charge this, moving away visually from reality scenes and shifting into abstraction has become the movement of the visual language.
Questions like Customer Journey hierarchy, levels of abstraction versus client relatability and the countless style choices where all needing an answer.
As the Visual Lead for VGZ via Glyph,
I developed a comprehensive visual transformation that bridged high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
My work began at the foundational level, mapping out visual requirements and customer journey roadmaps, and establishing a formalized discovery method. This strategic phase was backed by internal analysis and test shooting to ensure our creative direction would move in the right direction.
From there, I oversaw the end-to-end creative pipeline—managing core production, post-production, and expansive asset builds—ultimately culminating in comprehensive new visual guidelines and the creative direction for the upcoming 2025 and 2026 campaigns (featuring exciting new visuals currently under embargo).
Beyond immediate campaign execution, I focused on future-proofing VGZ’s visual capabilities. This included designing and building a dedicated in-house studio, conducting studio and AI training for the team, and optimizing internal workflows.
Ultimately, the impact and quality of our collaborative work were recognized with an Amma Awards nomination.
